Farmbot Monitoring Solutions Proven to Take the Guesswork out of Measuring, Analysing and Controlling Water Assets
Farmbot was established in Sydney in 2014 and is a leading Australian Agtech company in the Internet of Things (IoT) of Agriculture. The company monitors and reports on-farm water ecosystems delivering real-time reporting on water trends, consumption and alerts.
As water is the lifeblood of all agricultural endeavours, a detailed understanding of its usage helps farmers make better management decisions around asset utilisation, resource allocations and carrying capacities.
One of the key challenges of the agriculture industry is feeding an ever-growing population, with fewer resources, in a sustainable way. Farmbot sees a growing opportunity in the agricultural industry to provide monitoring solutions that have the capabilities to enable more sustainable and efficient practices.
Farmbot has developed an extensive range of monitoring devices which connects to the core monitor enabling farmers to check water, diesel and trough levels, rainfall, staff movements via a safety check-in module, electric fences voltages, flow and pressure rates remotely.
We are continuing to build a portfolio of connected devices, expanding the ecosystem.
- Works Anywhere (Satellite or Cellular 4G/5G/LTE)
- Save time on fuel and labour costs
- Easy Installation
- Detect leaks and faults in real-time
Monitor Your Assets Remotely with Farmbot:
Water Level Monitor (Tank, Dam, Turkey Nest, or Channel):
Provides remote water level monitoring for: tanks, dams, bores, turkey nests and channels. The monitor is self-installable and immediately operational. The monitor works anywhere and proves real-time reporting of issues, events and abnormalities in your water system via SMS and email alerts.
Farmbot Diesel level sensors provide remote real-time reporting of issues, events & abnormalities in your diesel tank. Data can be reported as level, volume in litres and percentage full. Users receive multiple updates per day via phone or email in addition to real-time triggered.
– Able to manage fuel/diesel levels
– Prevents fuel/diesel being stolen
Line Pressure Sensor:
The Farmbot line pressure sensors provide insights into the pressure levels & changes in any line. Detailed data allows a better understanding of pumps, controllers, values and the overall reticulation system. It facilitates the early detection of faults, problems or impending failures. The line pressure sensor can monitor any line (Water, gas, and other liquids) Up to 2500 kPa / 25 BAR
in standard form. Users have the capability to receive alerts based on custom triggers and are also able to analyse monthly pressure comparison data and export to spreadsheets. The line pressure sensor provides kilopascal unit data of line pressure. The sensor includes; 1⁄4 Inch BSP male fitting, snubber valve and a cable length of 10m. Custom cabling available on request.
The Farmbot Monitor can interface with up to 4 flow sensors and provide aggregate flow data for each. It can work with a wide range of standard water fittings and comes with supply fittings including; seals, brass threaded adaptors with nuts, poly compression fittings, reed switch with 12 meters of cable (pre-connected and wired for immediate plug-in).
Custom cable lengths up to 30m available on request. Like all Farmbot sensors, the flow sensor is end user-installable and immediately operational. Users have the capability to receive alerts based on custom triggers and are also able to analyse monthly flow comparison data and export to spreadsheets.
The Farmbot Rain Gauge enables you to know your daily aggregate rainfall across your entire farm. You can make informed decisions about farming operations, pasture development and yield potential before you’ve stepped foot into the field. Users have the capability to receive alerts based on custom triggers and are also able to analyse monthly rainfall comparison data and export to spreadsheets.
Safely Check-in Module
The integrated remote monitor and safety/check-in module helps ensure you and your staff are safe around the property. It provides accurate records of all site visits with an emergency alert facility.
How Do the Numbers Stack Up?
Farmbot monitors are a no-brainer, the benefits they provide farmers in terms of efficiencies, increased productivity and profitability. Our research shows that manual inspections can be reduced by over 75% after installing Farmbot monitors and sensors.
