Electrofusion fittings use heat welding provided by an electrical current. The material melts progressively and causes the pipe surface to melt and fuse with the fitting. Once cooled, a perfect cohesion of the fitting and pipe joint is achieved. A major advantage of electrofusion fittings is the ability to carry a full axil load without the need for external clamping or anchoring.
Polyethylene piping systems using electrofusion fittings are the ideal solution for general water supply, sewerage, wastewater, gas distribution, slurry lines and submerged pipelines in industrial, chemical or mining applications.
Compression fittings are an easy connection system for water supply and compressed air applications. Tapping saddles are also available to suit metric polyethylene pipe.
